Eastern States Summit

The Eastern States Summit is an invite-only gathering hosted by Coleridge that brings together state government leadership from higher education agencies and institutions, workforce and labor agencies, human services, research organizations, philanthropy, and other public-sector domains to explore how administrative data can be used to improve policy, programs, and outcomes.

The Eastern States Summit is an invite-only gathering hosted by Coleridge that brings together state government leadership from higher education agencies and institutions, workforce and labor agencies, human services, research organizations, philanthropy, and other public-sector domains to explore how administrative data can be used to improve policy, programs, and outcomes.

The Summit includes a full-day of sessions and activities with a second half-day targeted at states who are interested in potentially participating in the grant project.

Regional Data Leadership Summit – September 23rd includes a variety of sessions that focuses on cross-sector data collaboration, governance, infrastructure, and evidence-building. Participants will explore innovative approaches to using administrative data to support decision-making, improve public services, and strengthen regional partnerships.

Ascendium Grant Partner Track – September 24th is a half-day track that brings together states and agencies who are interested in learning more about an Ascendium Education-funded grant opportunity to develop a regional data collaborative to connect data across the region to support education-to-workforce initiatives. Programming will focus on identifying shared regional policy questions, measuring learner and workforce outcomes, and strengthening collaboration among higher education and workforce partners in the region.

Across both tracks, participants will have opportunities to:
• Share innovative approaches to data-informed policy and program improvement
• Explore data governance, infrastructure, and cross-agency collaboration models
• Learn from peer states and regional initiatives
• Strengthen partnerships that support evidence-based decision-making
• Identify practical strategies for using administrative data to address public-sector challenges

The Eastern States Summit is designed to foster collaboration among state leaders while connecting participants to Coleridge's infrastructure, partnerships, and tools that support sustainable, data-driven decision-making.
