COLERIDGE — Mike and Mary Biltoft have already received the best Christmas gift they could ever have.
After hearing the frightening word cancer, enduring surgery and weeks of treatment, he received a good report from doctors.
“With his scan this month we were given the greatest Christmas present a person could receive — no signs of cancer for now — a miracle and a blessing,” said Mary.
It was the middle of March when Mike was first diagnosed with cancer at the hospital in Osmond.

COLERIDGE — Mike and Mary Biltoft have experienced first-hand the difference prayer can make in your lives.
They not only found support from back home, they found hope at the home-away-from home for cancer patients they stayed at in Rochester, Minn.
The couple stayed at Hope Lodge for five weeks while Mike received both radiation and chemo treatments at Mayo Clinic.
“You have to wait for an available spot at Hope Lodge,” said Mary. “We only stayed two nights in a motel before moving into Hope Lodge. We had our own bedroom and bath upstairs. On the main floor there were TV rooms and eight kitchens — you shared a refrigerator and had a shelf in the cabinets for your things.”
